This was my morning. I dropped the entire Keurig water container on the floor and water was everywhere!💦
I started reading a book yesterday called The Energy Bus (and I almost finished it in one day)! I think that so many of the principles in this book apply to every aspect of our life including fitness. The book is filled with 10 secrets for approaching life with a positive attitude and that leads to true accomplishment at work, at home and at school.
Rule #1- You’re the Driver of Your Bus
You control where you want your life to go. If you’re not the driver, you will always be subject to other people’s plans. Today there are so many people out there that don’t feel like they have control of their bus. No one can change your attitude, your energy or the direction of your bus except for you.
First, you have to decide what you want then start creating it. You can’t let the world create you; you create your world!
So back to the water container that I dropped on the floor this morning. I could have said “Ugh it’s going to be a terrible day.” or I could have let it ruin my attitude for the rest of the day. Instead I stopped, took a deep breath and got out my steam mop. I’ve been meaning to mop the kitchen floor so this was the perfect chance. Now I have a clean kitchen floor! 😀
